Small-batch coffee. Desert light. Quiet craft.

Santa Fe coffee, roasted with restraint—served with warmth.

Juniper Roast is a neighborhood coffee bar with a tiny roastery in the back. We focus on balanced espresso, seasonal drinks, and pastries made fresh each morning. Come for a quick pour-over or stay for an afternoon under the portal.

Menu + Roastery

Built for daily rhythm, with seasonal surprises.

Our menu is intentionally tight: espresso, brewed coffee, tea, and a rotating list of seasonal drinks. In the roastery, we roast in small batches to preserve clarity and sweetness.

Our Approach

Quietly obsessive about coffee—and the people around it.

A small team, a small roaster, a big love for consistency and hospitality.

Juniper Roast opened on Canyon Road to be a calm counterpoint to busy days: a place where espresso is dialed thoughtfully, the bar moves with intention, and you can hear your own thoughts. We roast in-house several times a week, favoring coffees that taste good without needing to be loud.

Our sourcing centers on long-term relationships, transparent pricing where available, and a rotating set of producers we return to year after year. In the bar, we keep the menu focused so the craft stays visible—from water chemistry to milk texture to the final pour.

If you’re planning a small gathering or an art opening, we also offer a compact coffee cart setup for events in Santa Fe. We’ll bring espresso, batch brew, and a seasonal option—simple, elegant, and built for conversation.

Guest Notes

What locals say when they come back.

Realistic feedback, the kind you hear in line while the grinder runs.

The espresso is consistently sweet and balanced. I love that it’s not trying to be trendy—just really well made. The space feels like Santa Fe: calm, warm, and a little poetic.

— Marisa P.Regular

Their seasonal drinks are subtle and thoughtful. No sugar overload. The orange-spice cold brew is my new obsession, and the staff always makes time for a quick recommendation.

— Jonah R.Weekend visitor

I booked them for a small gallery opening. The setup was clean, service was smooth, and the coffee kept people lingering. It was the easiest part of the whole event.
